Trail and Terrace Geospatial is based in Western North Carolina. We thrive at the intersection of geographic information systems, data, infrastructure, recreation, conservation, and land stewardship. Our work is supported by years of experience in a wide variety of settings:
waist deep in mud
at the table with federal, state, regional, and municipal agencies
waist deep in snow
at the table with nonprofit organizations, land trusts, and private landowners
waist deep in water
at the table with community groups, volunteers, and the general public
on an exposed mountain ridge
on a videoconference with all of the above entities
Maybe you have a good idea of what you're looking for. It's even possible that you already have all the answers, but we certainly don't. Let's figure it out together!
Maybe you just have vague ideas. That's fine too!
Regardless of where you are in the process, we'd love to talk through your ideas. Let's put our brains, experiences, and creativity together.
Whether it's fixing a muddy spot on your neighborhood dog-walking trails, protecting the best panoramic views in the region, streamlining a 15-year-old spreadsheet, or modeling the potential distribution of a particular listed species in 2050, we're bound to have some insights. We'd be honored to help you find a great solution.
